THE VILLAGE
Paesana is a small village surrounded by nature. Although there is no cinema nor mall, we believe you will find everything you are looking for.
It is enough to walk in the square that our house overlooks to find the shops you may need. We trust that you will buy local to support those who live in Paesana all year round.
TO SEE & TO DO
Obviously we must mention the walks for all tastes, and some beautiful bike rides that include the Po Valley. And if you are an adventurer, we recommend some excursions just outside the village to immerse yourself in nature, and perhaps if there is a full moon, reach some nearby hills for an unforgettable experience.
If you simply want to relax, the two gardens available in the house are for you, but Paesana also has some equipped parks and a very pretty river side.
In the immediate proximity, Crissolo should be mentioned for some trekkings in the presence of Monviso; Ostana with its enchanting stone houses is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy; and the splendid Saluzzo mentioned by Dante and Boccaccio, whose past as the capital of the Marquisate is testified by the enchanting historical centre.
